Farrandalogue, Tierbrin, Co Kerry

My records show this location as Farrendaluge, but I think this is an error. I have never managed to find any mention of Tierbrin. Whether a house ever existed there I do not know, but Valerie Bary does not mention one in her book "Houses of Kerry", although under "Hillville, Stradbally" she writes that the Townland was called Farrandalogue. In the 1901 census for Stradbally, Farrandalogue is stated to be in the Catholic parish of Castlegregory. Interestingly, in the adjacent Townland of Farrantooleen, George Hickson, aged 19, is shown as a servant in the household of Michael Flynn in 1901.

Location

Farrandalogue was a Townland in Cloghane or Castlegregory.
