The Bergh Family Records

Eastbourne

June 16th / 43.

My dear Aunt,

The parcel from Tynemouth, dated June 10th arrived safely yesterday, and Fred joins me in thanking you for the Slippers and Cardcase which it contained, we think them very pretty and are much obliged to my cousins for the trouble they have taken in working them.

We are all very well notwithstanding the weather, which hsa been as disagreeable here, as I understand it has been in all other parts of England, a wet summer seems unusually provoking after such a fine Winter.

My little Girl walks very nicely, and talks as well as her Brother, She will continue to beBaby for some months, but I must not say a word about the Queen.

With love to my cousins and all friends, believe me.

Your affectionate Niece, J. Bergh.
